Michael Theisen is a popular writer, speaker and consultant in the fields of religious education and youth ministry. He wrote both editions of Ready-to-Go Game Shows as well as five courses and the Youth Ministry Strategies manual in the Horizons Program, was one of the authors of The Catholic Youth Bible, and was a coauthor of ScriptureWalk Senior High: Youth Themes, all published by St Mary's Press.
